For me, lockets tell a story. Whether a family tale, a legend, or a romance. They are designed to hold memories or little keepsakes so the wearer will always have them close. Traditionally they were used to hold a lock of hair or a tiny picture of someone special. They were usually given to loved ones on holidays such as Valentine's Day and occasions such as christenings, weddings and, most noticeably during the Victorian Age, funerals.

The lockets I design and make are unique creations that are exclusive to The Alchemist's Forge. They are not duplicated or remade so you can be sure you will own the only one in existence. Lockets are my favourite things to work on so when I create a new design, I always become so involved that I lose myself in the creation of a tiny story. They transfer me to a world away from the norm therefore they tend to be very detailed.  Each one tells a story in its own right.
